  I go to the clock house most days when I'm in Gainsborough. I love the decor, the soft music, however the staff are not very attentive. They are not busy but take too long to serve drinks, and sometimes forget orders.
  The food is well presented but again attention to detail is not quite there. The fishcakes didn't taste of fish and the sweet potato fries were overcooked but mushy inside. Also we asked for mixed nuts and were given almonds and walnuts with no other choice of nuts. A little bowl of nuts or crisps with a cocktail would be a nice touch. The main thing though is to talk to the staff about being friendly and attentive, as they just haven't got it right yet.
  Having said that, I love the place and hope you make it work as Gainsborough needs a place like yours.
